Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp salted butter 1 ½ oz
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 oz chocolate chips preferably semi-sweet.

Instructions

  1. Cut up butter into smaller cubes and add chocolate chips to a bowl.
  2. Pour in the sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Microwave on power level high for 40 seconds, stir. Microwave for another 20 seconds and stir.
  4. Even if the ingredients do not look as though they have all melted, continue to stir. The residual heat will melt the remaining butter and chocolate chips.
  5. Decide how to store the Hot Fudge Sauce. Yield is 16oz so 4 x 4oz jars or 2 x8 oz jars are ideal.
