Ingredients

  • 4 oz wheat noodles, udon or ramen noodles
  • 2 Tablespoons oil of choice
  • 1 green onion chopped divided
  • 3-4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 Tablespoon chili flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • Green onion or sesame seeds to garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. To a large pan, add the oil, green onion, garlic, light soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili flakes, and sugar; whisk to combine.
  3. Turn on the heat to medium-high and cook for 1 minute or until the garlic is fragrant. Add the cooked noodles to the pan and toss or stir to coat the noodles in the chili oil mixture.
  4. Garnish with more green onion or sesame seeds and enjoy immediately.
