10 Minute Sesame Ramen Noodles
Dress up your ramen noodles in 10 minutes or less by making this Sesame Noodles recipe. Ditch the seasoning packet and make this flavour packed sesame ramen noodles instead!
Ingredients
- 3-4 packages ramen noodles or use pasta noodles, udon noodles, yakisoba noodles, etc.
- 2 tbsp sesame oil pure
- 1 tbsp garlic minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce low sodium
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp sambal oelek
- 2 tbsp water or vegetable broth
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 4 talks green onions sliced
Optional Garnish
- sesame seeds toasted
- fried onion
- green onions
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your ramen noodles 1 minute under the instructions on the package. Mine cooks in 4 minutes so I cook it to 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add in the sesame oil and after approximately 30 seconds, add in the minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, approximately 1 minute.
- Add in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sambal oelek, water or vegetable broth, mirin, and green onions. Stir and let the sauce cook for a minute.
- Add in the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet.
- Toss until the ramen noodles have soaked up the sauce.
- Top with garnishes if desired.
