20-Minute Ranch Snack Mix
Make this easy ranch snack mix for your next party, game day, or kids' play date. Ready in just 20 minutes after toasting in the oven, this crunchy mix made with homemade ranch seasoning is a savory party snack everyone will love!
Ingredients
- 2 cups wheat chex cereal
- 2 cups White Cheddar Cheese Cheese-Its snack brand
- 2 cups oyster crackers
- 2 cups pretzels tiny twists
- 2 cups bagel chips
- ¼ cup butter melted, unsalted
- 3 Tablespoons ranch seasoning or 1 packet, dry
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cereal, crackers, pretzels, and bagel chips.
- Pour the melted butter over, stirring while doing so if possible to coat evenly. Very quickly after, sprinkle on the dry ranch seasoning, and stir to coat.
- Spread the mixture evenly across a large rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 17-20 minutes, tossing 2-3 times throughout the cooking process. The goal is to get the mixture toasted and "cook" the butter and seasoning into the crunchy pieces.
Notes
- Salt: there's typically no need to add additional salt to this mix. The ranch seasoning (homemade or store-bought) has added salt for flavor, and the crunch-items themselves are salted. If your situation differs and they are unsalted, in that case, I would suggest adding additional salt.
