4 Ingredient Crockpot Ravioli

With extra quick prep, this easy ravioli dish is a family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Italian sausage mild or hot
  • 45 ounces pasta sauce
  • 4 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 25-30 ounces cheese and spinach filled ravioli uncooked

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of a 6 qt slow cooker with cooking spray. Reserve 1 cup of pasta sauce and set aside.
  2. Brown sausage over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain any fat. Add reamining pasta sauce sauce and simmer 2 minutes.
  3. Place reserved 1 cup of pasta sauce in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  4. Top with 1/2 of the ravioli, half of the meat sauce and half of the cheese.
  5. Repeat layers ending with cheese.
  6. Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours.

Notes

  • Onions, garlic and/or vegetables such as mushrooms, peppers or zucchini can be cooked with the sausage and added to the sauce.
  • Use any type of frozen ravioli. If you're using a meat filled ravioli, skip the sausage for an extra quick version.
  • For a spicy version, add 1-2 teaspoons chili flakes to the sauce.
  • Slow cookers can vary, check your pasta at 3 hours to ensure it doesn't overcook.
  • A simple garnish of fresh parsley and/or basil can easily elevate this dish!
