Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts 5-6 ounces each
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 2 cups salsa any kind
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or Monterey jack

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Toss chicken breasts with taco seasoning.
  3. Top each chicken breast with salsa.
  4. Bake 25-30 minutes or until chicken reaches 165°F.
  5. Top with cheese and broil 1-2 minutes.
  6. Optional: Add your favorite taco toppings as desired.

Notes

  • Adjust the heat by changing out the salsa, try hot, medium, or mild!
  • Shred leftovers for tacos, burritos, or salads
