5 Min All-Purpose Dipping Sauce

The all-purpose dipping sauce is a perfect combination of yogurt and mayonnaise that offers tanginess and a refreshing flavor of fresh herbs you won't get in any other dip sauce.

Ingredients

  • 200 g yogurt
  • 100 g mayonnaise
  • ½ teaspoon sugar optional
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 5 - 6 mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Grind 5-6 mint leaves in a mortar pestle. Use a little amount of water to make the paste.
Combining the Ingredients
  1. Combine yogurt, mayonnaise, sugar, salt, lemon juice, mint paste and oregano.
  2. Mix well and garnish with oregano.

Notes

  • Store this dip for no more than a week.
  • Always refrigerate it. If it’s too cold to serve, keep the required quantity at room temperature before serving.
  • Add sugar and salt carefully, as mayonnaise is already having it.
  • Limit the mint leaves to 6-7 max as it will make the dip a little bitter.
