5 Minute Cannoli Dip with Mascarpone
Make this super easy cannoli dip the next time you need dessert for a crowd. It is luxuriously creamy with a ricotta and mascarpone cheese base. Bright lemon, cinnamon, and vanilla come together for an irresistible dip. Serve with cannoli chips, strawberries, and more!
Ingredients
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese whole milk
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 Tablespoons heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
- 1 ¼ cup mini chocolate chips more for topping
- cannoli chips for serving
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except the mini chocolate chips in a mixing bowl using a hand mixer or whisk. If using a hand mixer, use low speed and either way, do not overmix, or you will risk the mascarpone becoming grainy.
- Fold in chocolate chips using a spatula (measure these with your heart, really). Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with additional chips and a sprinkle of cinnamon as desired. Serve with your favorite dippers, and enjoy!
- If making ahead of time (or with leftovers), store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
