5 Minute Side - Sautéed Sugar Snap Peas with Chilli Salt

Crisp, sweet sugar snap peas, sautéed to a tender crisp perfection and then sprinkled with chilli flakes and sea salt. A healthy 5 minute side dish!

Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz fresh sugar snap peas
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon salt (flaked salt is best)
  • ¼-1/2 teaspoon chilli flakes (more if you want a super spicy hit!)

Instructions

  1. Remove the stem end and the string from each sugar snap.
  2. Place a cast iron fry pan over a medium high heat and let it get hot. Add the oil and then toss in the sugar snap peas sauté for 3 minutes, until the sugar snap peas are slightly tender and with a small amount of colour.
  3. Place the sugar snap peas in a serving bowl and sprinkle with the salt and chilli flakes.
  4. Serve hot.
