Acai Smoothie Bowl

This tasty and vibrant acai smoothie bowl is a delicious vegan breakfast. It only takes a minute or so to whiz the freeze dried acai berry powder with a few simple ingredients. Berries, banana and oats bring extra goodness and make this smoothie bowl filling and delicious.

Ingredients

For the acai bowl
  • ½ cup (125ml) dairy free milk I used oat but others work well
  • 1 handful frozen berries
  • ½ a banana
  • 3 tablespoon oats
  • 2 teaspoon of acai powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
Optional garnishes
  • frozen or fresh berries
  • coconut
  • nuts
  • seeds
  • granola

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all the ingredients for the acai bowl into the blender and whiz until smooth.
  2. Spoon into serving bowls and add desired toppings.
