Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken shredded, leftover or pork adobo
  • 2 cups white rice grains separated, day-old, cooked
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons green onion optional, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until golden and fragrant.
  2. Stir in the shredded leftover adobo meat and cook until heated through, allowing any sauce to coat the meat.
  3. Add the day-old rice to the skillet and stir-fry, ensuring the rice is well mixed with the adobo and heated thoroughly. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions if using, and serve the adobo rice warm.
