Ingredients
- 2 apples honeycrisp, fuji or granny smith
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon optional
Instructions
- Wash and dry the apples. Using a mandolin or sharp knife, carefully slice the apples into 1/8 inch thick slices.
- If you like a hint of spice, sprinkle ground cinnamon over the apples and use your hands to rub it into every slice.
- Place the apple slices in a single layer (without overlapping) on the air fryer tray. You may need to cook them in multiple batches.
- Set the air fryer to 280°F and cook the apple slices for about 20 minutes, or until crispy. Flip the slices a few times during the cooking. Transfer the apple chips to a wire rack and allow to cool completely. They will crisp up more as they cool. Enjoy!
