  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 pinch salt sea salt
  • 2 pinch black pepper ground
  • 10 g parmesan grated
  • 0.5 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • 0.5 lemon juice only

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Put 200 g Asparagus spears into a bowl. Drizzle over 1 tablespoon Olive oil and add 2 pinch Sea salt and 2 pinch Ground black pepper. Mix well to coat all of the asparagus.
  2. Put the coated asparagus into your air fryer.
  3. Cook at 200°C/400°F for 8 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking.
  4. Serve topped with juice of 0.5 Lemon, 10 g Parmesan and 0.5 teaspoon Red chilli flakes.

Notes

  • You can mix and season asparagus ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to air fry.
  • Snap asparagus ends off instead of cutting; they naturally break where they get tough.
  • Arrange spears in a single layer in the air fryer basket to avoid steaming and achieve crispness.
  • Adjust cooking time according to the thickness of asparagus spears: thinner spears need less time.
  • Add crunch by serving with crushed cashews or almonds if desired.
