Instructions
How To Make Cinnamon Rolls in Air Fryer
- In a bowl stir together the milk, yeast, sugar, egg, egg yolk and melted butter. Add the flour and knead for 8 minutes or until the dough is soft and elastic.
- Cover with a cloth and let it rise for 40 minutes.
- Combine milk, yeast, sugar, egg, egg yolk, melted butter, and flour and knead until the dough is well combined and elastic. Allow it to rise for 40 minutes.
- While the dough is rising, make the filling by combining butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough to ¼-inch thick, then spread with butter and sprinkle with half the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture. Add the bacon slices and top with the remaining filling.
- Roll up the dough, slice, and add the individual rolls to the air fryer basket.
- Set air fryer to 300 degrees F / 149 degrees C. Cook for 10 minutes. Reduce temperature to 200 degrees F / 93 degrees C and cook for 10 more minutes.
- While the bacon cinnamon rolls cook, make the frosting by beating together the butter and maple syrup in a stand mixer. Then add the confectioner’s sugar, whipping up until light and fluffy.
- Top the warm cinnamon rolls with frosting and serve.

How To Make Bacon Cinnamon Rolls in the Oven
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F / 180 degrees C.
- Follow the steps for preparing cinnamon rolls above, place sliced rolls to a baking sheet and bake for 35–40 minutes.
- Remove from oven, top with frosting, and serve.
Notes
- Loosely roll the cinnamon rolls and avoid squeezing them.
- If cooking right away, preheat the air fryer before adding the cinnamon rolls to the basket.
- If you are preparing ahead and are cooking these straight from the refrigerator, allow the cold rolls to warm up in the air fryer while it preheats.
- Cooking time can vary based on your air fryer. Check your rolls every 2-3 minutes during the second half of the cooking process.
- Double the frosting. Seriously. Can you ever have too much frosting?
- Storage - keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days (if they last that long!)
