Ingredients

  • 4 sweet potato scrubbed and dried with paper towels, medium
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Serving:
  • butter
  • cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  2. After cleaning and drying the sweet potatoes, pierce them several times with a small knife a fork.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and rub into the potatoes with your hands to coat well.
  4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Place sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket, and leave some space between them, DO NOT STACK.
  6. Cook for 40-50 minutes, depending on the size of the sweet potatoes, flipping over halfway.
  7. Once tender, serve with butter and cinnamon sugar.

Notes

  • Make sure to prick multiple holes in the sweet potatoes before cooking to prevent them from bursting.
  • Do not stack the potatoes in the air fryer; arrange them in a single layer with space to ensure even cooking.
  • Peeling is optional and can be done after cooking if preferred.
