Air Fryer BBQ Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2– 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • Olive oil or oil spray for coating
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Combine paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt in a small bowl.
  2. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness, pat dry, and coat with olive oil.
  3. Apply the spice mixture to both sides of the chicken, pressing gently to ensure it adheres.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F. Lightly oil the air fryer basket and place the chicken breasts presentation side down.
  5. Cook the chicken for 10 minutes, then flip it and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches approximately 165°F, which should take about 8–10 minutes more.
  6. Generously brush the BBQ sauce over the chicken and return to the air fryer for 1–2 minutes. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
