Air Fryer Boiled Eggs
Air Fryer Boiled Eggs use an air fryer to cook eggs to your preferred doneness by adjusting temperature and time. The method warms eggs from room temperature, cooks them at 270°F, then cools them in ice water to set the white and yolk texture precisely. This technique offers a shell-on boiling alternative using an air fryer, resulting in eggs that can be peeled and served in various ways.
Ingredients
- 6 large egg
Instructions
- Remove the eggs from the refrigerator and let them warm on the counter for 10 minutes.
- You can place the eggs in the air fryer basket, making sure to space them out.
- Place the air fryer basket back in, set temperature to 270 degrees Fahrenheit and set the timer according to how hard you want your eggs.
- As soon as the timer goes off, have a bowl of ice water ready. Remove the eggs and cool in the ice water for 10 minutes before peeling.
- Crack the egg around the center then remove each end. Prepare as desired.
Notes
- Allow eggs to warm to room temperature before cooking for even results.
- Cooking times vary by air fryer model; test with a few eggs first.
- Immediately cool eggs in ice water after cooking to halt cooking and ease peeling.
- Store cooked eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
