Ingredients
- 16 ounces broccolini
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 medium lemon zested and juiced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the broccolini in a large bowl or sealable plastic bag. Add the minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the broccolini is evenly coated.
- Arrange the broccolini in a single layer in the air fryer basket or tray. Do not overcrowd the basket to ensure even cooking.
- Cook for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the broccolini florets are lightly browned and tender-crisp.
- While the broccolini is cooking, zest and juice the lemon.
- Transfer the cooked broccolini to a serving dish. Drizzle with lemon juice and sprinkle with lemon zest and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately while hot.
Notes
- Spicy: Add 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes or 1/8 teaspoon cayenne to the olive oil mixture.
- Cheesy: Swap Parmesan for shredded asiago or crumbled goat cheese.
- Herby: Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs like oregano, thyme, or Italian seasoning over the broccolini before cooking.
- Asian-Inspired: Toss the broccolini with 1 teaspoon soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil.
