Air Fryer Buffalo Wings

Ingredients
- 12 chicken wings split
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons Frank's Red Hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings dry (both sides) using paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
- Place the chicken wings in a medium-sized bowl and sprinkle baking powder over them. Toss to ensure they are evenly coated.
- Heat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (note: some air fryers require pre-heating. If yours is the type that does, now is the time to do it)
- Place the wings in the basket evenly spaced and not touching one another. Close the fryer and cook for at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, opening the air fryer drawer and shaking them at the 5-minute mark.
- While the wings are cooking, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a microwave-safe dish. Add in 3-4 tablespoons of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce (depending on how hot you like your wings).
- Pour the mixture over the wings and toss to ensure an even coating. Then place the wings back in the air fryer basket, evenly spaced and close the air fryer.
- Turn your air fryer up to 400 °F (or higher if your model allows it.) Cook the wings for 5-10 minutes, or more on this hotter temperature to crisp the outside. Cook until the wings reach your desired crispiness, shaking every 5 minutes.
- Remove and serve hot.
