Air Fryer Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground hamburger recommend 85/15
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1 tsp seasoning salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 4 slices cheese
  • 4 Buns
  • *additional toppings like lettuce tomatoes, pickles, bacon ketchup, mustard. mayonnaise etc.

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine hamburger, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning salt, garlic powder and onion powder and combine with hands. Do not overmix. Form into 4 patties.
  2. Place the burgers in the air fryer, you may have to cook two at a time depending on the size of your air fryer.
  3. Cook the burgers for 8 minutes at 360 degrees F. Flip the burgers over and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes or until the internal temperature of the burgers are 160 degrees F.
  4. Top each burger with a slice of cheese and cook for an additional minute or until the cheese is melted.
  5. Serve on buns with your favorite condiments.

Notes

  • Press a thumbprint into the middle of each patty before it goes in the air fryer. This will help the patty hold it's shape rather than shrinking as it cooks.
