Ingredients
- 1 apple diced small
- 1/8 teaspoon apple pie spice
- 2 tablespoons Caramel sauce
- 1 roll of pizza dough
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- Add diced apple into a nonstick saucepan and cook for over low heat, stirring constantly for about 5 mins or until soft.
- Mix in the apple pie spice and caramel sauce and switch off the heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough and cut into 6-inch by 2-inch strips.
- Spoon a line of the caramel apple mixture down the middle of each donut strip.
- Bring the sides of each donut strip together and pinch to seal then Curl the ends of each piece together to make a circle and seal.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350F / 180C and spray the cooking basket with olive oil spray.
- Cook the donuts for 6 to 9 minutes, shaking halfway through.
- Melt butter and in a bowl combine sugar and cinnamon
- Dip donuts first into the butter and then coat with cinnamon sugar before serving.
