Air Fryer Carrot Fries

This recipe features carrot fries seasoned with garlic powder and salt, then crisped using an air fryer with a light coating of olive oil. Ingredients

  • 4 large carrot peeled and cut into matchsticks
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil or olive oil spray
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons parsley optional, freshly chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine carrots, olive oil, garlic powder and salt and stir until combined.
  2. Place them in the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 18 minutes, stirring them halfway through cooking. Spread the out so that they don't overlap.
  3. Remove from the fryer and serve immediately with dipping sauces of your choice.

Notes

  • Cooking the carrot fries spread out in the air fryer is crucial for better crisping.
  • They might not become as crispy as oven-baked fries at high temperatures.
  • Double the recipe if desired but cook in batches if your air fryer is small to avoid overcrowding.
