Ingredients

  • 6 medium to large carrots peeled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • fresh parsley finely chopped

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390℉ and spray your air fryer tray with cooking spray if using.
  2. Then cut your peeled carrots into French fry-like shapes (carrot sticks) and place in your bowl.
  3. Add the olive oil and garlic powder on top of the carrots, cover with lid and shake.
  4. Place seasoned carrots in the air fryer in a single layer for 12-15 minutes. Shake at around 6 minutes and start checking if they’re ready, or shake again, once they have been in for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from the air fryer, add some fresh parsley and enjoy!

Notes

  • Be sure to cut carrots into similar sizes to help them cook evenly. Depending on the size of your carrots, you may need to cook these in batches. These are best enjoyed right after they are done. Store in the freezer in a freezer safe bag or container. Reheat in the air fryer. Feel free to add salt to taste or experiment with other herbs and spices for different flavors, such as cayenne, paprika, Italian seasoning, or even brown sugar for sweeter carrots.
