Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower, broken or cut into florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • pinch sumac for sprinkling, optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat air fryer to 390 F (200 C).
  2. Add cauliflower florets to a large bowl. Add the olive oil and all the spices and toss well to combine.
  3. Add 1/2 the cauliflower to the basket of an air fryer, and air fry for anywhere between 15-20 minutes depending on the size of your florets, until crispy and golden brown, shaking every 3 minutes or so.
  4. Once the first batch is done, repeat with the second batch. Sprinkle cauliflower with sumac, optional but really yummy.
  5. Enjoy hot, room temperature, or cold. You can have this plain, dipped in tahini sauce, with sriracha mayo, in a pita bread wrap, on salads, so many ways!

Notes

  • You can use a small or large head of cauliflower, but regardless you'll probably have to air fry this in two batches unless you have a larger air fryer. You don't want to overcrowd the cauliflower in the basket so that it crisps up well.
  •
  • Storing leftovers: Leftover cauliflower can be stored for 3-5 days in the fridge in an air tight container.
  • You can also store leftovers in the freezer for 3 months, and they'll thaw within a couple hours in the fridge.
