Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts skinless, boneless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or oil of choice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390F.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk the spices until combined.
  3. Pound chicken breasts to even thickness (optional step) and rub both sides of chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle with the spice mix.
  4. Transfer to preheated air fryer and cook 10 minutes per side or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165F.
  5. Remove chicken breasts from the air fryer and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
