Air Fryer Chicken Taquitos With Avocado Cream Sauce

Air fryer taquitos is a zesty salsa chicken filling rolled up into tortillas and cooked to crispy, crunchy perfection. Smothered and dipped into an avocado cream sauce, these rolled air fryer tacos make a quick, easy and delicious meal!

Ingredients

For the chicken taquitos
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken rotisserie chicken works well
  • ¼ cup jarred salsa
  • 4 oz chopped green chiles
  • 8 tortillas we love to use almond flour tortillas
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese
  • fresh salsa optional, for serving
For the avocado cream sauce
  • 2 avocados mashed
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 lime juice and zest
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Make the filling for the taquitos; combine 1 cup shredded chicken with 1/4 cup salsa and green chiles.
  2. Place shredded cheese on a tortilla and then 2 tbsp filling. Roll tightly, seam side down and place onto air fryer basket.
  3. Lightly spray with avocado oil and cook for 5 mins at 380 degrees.
  4. Make avocado crema to serve with the taquitos: Into a blender mix greek yogurt, avocados, cilantro, minced garlic, lime juice and zest until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
