Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breasts boneless, skinless, or tenderloins
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt sea salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. First, if using chicken breasts, slice into long thin strips. Add the chicken strips to a large bowl. Drizzle olive oil on top and sprinkle with seasonings.
  2. Toss until fully coated in oil and seasonings.
  3. Arrange in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Do not overlap.
  4. Air fry at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 minutes. Then, flip over and cook for another 5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  5. Finally, remove from the air fryer and serve.

Notes

  • If you only have frozen chicken, thaw completely before making this recipe.
  • Cut the chicken breasts into equal sizes.  This is important for even cooking.
  • Do not overlap the chicken in the air fryer basket.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasonings to suit your taste.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken is cooked through.  It must read 165 degrees Fahrenheit to be considered safely cooked.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days.
