Ingredients

  • 1 package wonton wrappers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ clove garlic minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 green onions finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, and salt until well combined.
  3. Place one teaspoon of cream cheese mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper. Dip your finger in water and run it around the edges of the wrapper, wetting each edge. Bring all four corners together above the filling and pinch them together. Then, pinch together each of the four seams.
  4. Brush each wonton with vegetable oil, then place them in the air fryer basket, ensuring they aren't touching. Cook for four to six minutes until the wontons are golden brown.
  5. Continue cooking in batches until all the wontons are cooked.

Notes

  • Don't overfill these. Stick to about one teaspoon of filling per wrapper. Any more, and cream cheese will ooze out everywhere during cooking.
  • Keep your wonton wrappers covered with a damp paper towel while working. They can dry out quickly, which makes them harder to seal.
  • Don't crowd your air fryer basket! I usually fit 9-10 in my basket at once.
  • That light brush of oil makes a huge difference in getting that gorgeous golden-brown color. I use a pastry brush to brush on the oil. I have tried spraying them with an oil spray bottle, but they don't come out looking as good.
