- 1 lb fresh strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to the lowest temperature available.
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly to remove any dirt.
- Use a sharp knife or a strawberry huller to remove the stems if desired.
- Slice the strawberries into thin, uniform pieces, approximately 1/8 of an inch thick.
- Pat the strawberry slices dry using a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Place the strawberry slices in a single layer inside the air fryer basket.
- Cook the strawberries at the preheated temperature of 170-200 degrees F.
- Let them cook for an hour, flipping them over after 30 minutes.
- The strawberries are done when they achieve a texture that is leather-like.
- They should no longer be moist or soft but should be slightly crispy.
