Air Fryer Frozen Falafel Bowl

Let’s make air fryer frozen falafel more fun with this vegetarian falafel bowl. Loaded with falafel, courgette, peppers, tomatoes, chickpeas, and a Greek yoghurt sauce this is perfect for a yummy light dinner.

Ingredients

  • 15 falafel balls frozen
  • ½ yellow bell pepper
  • ½ red pepper
  • ½ courgette medium
  • ½ chickpeas canned, drained
  • 2 Tsp cumin
  • 2 Tsp Coriander
  • tomato sliced
Greek Dip
  • 6 Tbsp Greek yoghurt heaped
  • 1 Tbsp mint shredded, fresh
  • ¼ cucumber small chunks
  • ¼ Tsp Garlic puree
  • 2 Tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tsp dill

  • Philips Air Fryer

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Slice and dice your veggies and toss them in half the coriander and cumin. Also season them with salt and pepper.
  2. Load the veggies into the air fryer with the frozen falafels and cook for 8 minutes at 180c/360f. Shake and then air fry for a further 3 minutes at the same temperature.
  3. Once cooked remove from the air fryer and load into a bowl.
  4. Season drained chickpeas in the rest of the cumin and coriander and season with salt and pepper. Air fry for 6 minutes at 180c/360f. Whilst the chickpeas are being air fried load into a bowl your Greek dip ingredients and mix well. Load the dip and sliced tomatoes onto your falafel bowl.
  5. Then when the air fryer beeps, add the chickpeas, and serve with the rest of your falafel bowl.

Notes

  • Optional. You can skip the bowl option and just make a falafel wrap, or serve them on their own. The choices are yours!
