Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) store-bought frozen mozzarella sticks

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F / 200 degrees C.
  2. Line your air fryer basket with frozen mozzarella sticks, cooking in batches if needed.
  3. Air fry for 6-8 minutes or until they are golden brown and the interior is warmed through.
  4. Served on their own or with the dipping sauce of your choice.

Notes

  • Preheat your Air Fryer before making sticks in the air fryer for the best results.
  • Don’t crowd the basket of the air fryer. You need to leave plenty of space between each cheese stick for the hot air to circulate for maximum crispiness and even cooking.
  • No extra oil is needed for this air fryer recipe. So, less saturated fat.
  • Watch closely as you near the end of preparation time. You do not want the cheese to start oozing out of the air fryer cheese sticks! The longer you cook them, the more chance of the cheese oozing out.
  • You can gently shake the air fryer basket halfway through the prep time to ensure even cooking.
  • Ensure these are completely frozen before air frying them for the best results. They get so much crispier then.
  • If making homemade mozza sticks, then use a seasoned breadcrumbs mixture or panko mixture for more flavor.
  • Storage - keep leftovers in an airtight container inside the fridge for 3 days.
  • There are 9 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving of this.
