Ingredients

  • 2 slices sandwich bread each slice about a 1/2-inch thick
  • mayonnaise as needed
  • 2 to 4 slices melting cheese such as sharp cheddar, American, or pepper jack

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F if your model requires preheating.
  2. Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place one slice of bread, mayonnaise-side down, in the air fryer basket. Add cheese on top, then cover with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise-side up.
  4. Air-fry the sandwich for approximately 3 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
