Air Fryer Halloumi

The easiest way to make grilled halloumi, an air fryer makes melty golden halloumi a breeze to prepare and so yummy to eat!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 block halloumi cheese, cut into 8 slices. 8 oz, 225 grams

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 390F (200 C).
  2. Lightly brush halloumi slices on both sides with olive oil. Place in the basket of the air fryer, trying to make sure the slices don't touch each other.
  3. Cook at 390 F (200C) for 7-8 minutes until golden brown and crispy on the outside. Enjoy either hot, at room temperature or even cold!

Notes

  • Air Fryer Halloumi is great as is, with some pita bread, as a side dish to fried or scrambled eggs, and especially on top of salads.
  • Try it with this Strawberry Salad recipe.
  • Leftover slices will keep 1-2 days tightly covered in the fridge. They'll use their crunch but are still really tasty eaten cold.
