Air Fryer Mushrooms and Onions
This air fryer recipe is perfect for anyone looking for delicious garlicky mushrooms with crispy edges. It makes an amazing side dish and only requires a few minutes to prepare!
Ingredients
- ½ pound mushrooms (sliced - see notes below)
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 yellow onion (sliced - see notes below)
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sweet paprika or smoked paprika, ground
- 1 teaspoon garlic ground
- 1 teaspoon onion powder ground
- 1-2 tablespoon butter melted or margarine
Instructions
- Transfer the mushrooms and onions to a large bowl.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste, paprika, ground garlic, and onion powder.
- Transfer to your air fryer basket then air fry at 190°C/375°F for 10-12 minutes shaking the air fryer basket halfway through, or until you get your desired crispiness.
- Once cooked, transfer the mushrooms and onions to a plate, and top with the melted butter (or margarine).
- Serve immediately and keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.

- My recipe produces mushrooms that are more crispy on the edges, cut your mushrooms into halves or quarters if you prefer them less crispy.
