Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter cream or chunky
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Mix the butter, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and egg.
  2. Mix your flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  3. Add your dry ingredients to your wet ingredients and mix.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees F.
  5. Shape the dough into 2 inch balls and place them 3 inches apart on a piece of parchment paper. Dip a fork in sugar and press in a crisscross pattern on each ball to flatten it to about 2 inches.
  6. Put the cookies (and the parchment paper) in the preheated air fryer. Bake for 8 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove the cookies to a cooling rack.

Notes

  • Leave enough space between each cookie so they can spread out and cook evenly. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you will need to work in batches.
  • Every air fryer is different, so keep an eye on your cookies towards the end of the cooking time.
  • You can bake these cookies in a regular oven at 350 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
  • You can substitute almond butter or any other nut butter you like. However, it may change the flavor and texture slightly.
