Air Fryer Pizza Hot Pockets

Ingredients

  • 1 box Puff pastry sheets 2 full sheets
  • 8 ounce pizza sauce jar
  • 5 ounce pepperoni mini slices, in bag
  • 1/2 cup sausage cooked crumbles
  • 1/4 cup fresh mozzarella pearls
  • 4 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted
  • 2 teaspoons garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon basil dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Set the puff pastry sheets laid out on a lightly floured cutting board and let thaw for about 10 minutes.
  2. Cut each puff pastry sheet lengthwise into 3 pieces, then cut horizontally down the middle to make 6 equal pieces per puff pastry sheet.
  3. Spread 2 tbsp of marinara sauce onto the center of 6 puff pastry sheets.
  4. Add a spoonful of mini pepperoni, mozzarella pearls, and sausage crumbles.
  5. Add the remaining pastry squares on top of the filling. Press the edges to seal with your finger, then use a fork and press down lightly around the edges.
  6. To the melted butter add minced garlic, basil, and sea salt. Whisk to combine.
  7. Brush the puff pastry with garlic butter. 
  8. Cook in the air fryer at 350 degrees F for 15 minutes. Flipping is optional, I found it to be unnecessary for these.
  9. Serve with remaining marinara sauce as a dip and enjoy!
