Air Fryer Pork Belly Bites

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds pork belly
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • sesame seeds for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  2. Pat dry the pork belly and cut it into 1-inch pieces. For easier cutting make sure the pork belly is cold.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the meat.
  4. Add the pork belly pieces to the bowl and stir until well covered in the mixture.
  5. After that, arrange the pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket. If needed cook in batches.
  6. Air fry for 18-20 minutes, flipping them a couple of times throughout the cooking time. The cooking time will depend on the size of your pork belly pieces. They are done when browned and crispy.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and serve garnished with sesame seeds and your favorite dipping sauce.
