Air Fryer Portobello Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 4 portobello mushrooms
  • 2½ tablespoons soy sauce low sodium
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ⅛-¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • Oil spray
  • parsley optional garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Add the portobello mushrooms, one at a time, to the mixture and toss to coat. A brush is helpful to get the mixture all over the mushrooms.
  3. Spray some oil into the air fryer basket and place the portobello mushroom caps gill-side up into the air fryer. Feel free to spoon a bit of the leftover sauce into the gills (but not too much, or it’ll be salty!).
  4. Air fry for 10 minutes at 400F.
  5. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve.
