Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of Italian spices
- 1 garlic
Instructions
- Wash the potatoes under running water and dry them well; you can also peel them if you prefer. Slice the potatoes on a cutting board with a sharp knife (1/4-inch).
- Soak the potatoes in a large bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least half an hour.
- After the soaking time has passed, rinse the potatoes and dry them with a clean kitchen towel.
- Transfer the potato rounds to a bowl and season them with crushed garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian spices. Mix well so that all the potatoes are covered with the oil.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees F for 2 minutes.
- Place the potatoes in the basket of the air fryer without overlapping them.
- Cook for 15 minutes, shaking them halfway through cooking.
- Serve hot with a pinch of salt on top.

Notes
- Don't overcrowd the fryer basket; you may not get super crispy potatoes.
- Always soak the potatoes in cold water. The cold water removes excess starch and makes the potato crispier.
- Cut potato slices into equal sizes for optimal cooking.
- Don't cut the potatoes too thinly, as this recipe is not for potato chips.
