Ingredients
Salmon Bites
- 1 pound salmon fillets
- 1 Tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Teriyaki sauce
- ½ Tablespoon honey
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Bowls
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 head broccoli, steamed
- 1 large carrot, peeled and shredded
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 green onion, sliced
Instructions
- Remove salmon skin using a sharp blade and discard. Then, chop salmon filets into 1’’ cubes. Set them aside.
- Mix teriyaki sauce, olive oil, honey, soy sauce, ground pepper, and garlic powder. Then, coat salmon bites with it. Note: If you double the sauce, you can serve it as a dressing.
- Preheat the Air Fryer to 350F, then arrange salmon pieces inside without overlapping them. Cook for six to eight minutes or until bites are cooked through. Turning them over is optional.
- Serve warm with some sesame seeds on top.
- Salmon Bowl: add 4 oz of Salmon Bites, ½ cup of cooked white rice, ⅓ cup shredded carrots, ¼ sliced avocado, and 1 cup of steamed broccoli florets to a medium bowl. Top with sesame seeds, sliced green onion, and your favorite dressing. Recommendations: Use the teriyaki sauce provided in this recipe or sriracha mayo.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Storage
- Store: Store your leftover salmon bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. To reheat, simply pop them back in the air fryer for a couple of minutes to regain their crispy perfection!
- Freeze: If you've made a larger batch, these bites can be frozen. Lay them on a baking sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to a zip-top bag or container. When ready to eat, cook from frozen in the air fryer, adding a couple of minutes to the cook time.
