Air Fryer Shrimp Tempura

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds raw peeled shrimp medium or large size recommended
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 1/2 cups Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare an egg wash by whisking together 2 large eggs and two teaspoons of water.
  3. Dredge shrimp in flour, shake off excess flour.
  4. Dip dredged shrimp into the egg wash and then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Cook for 7 to 9 minutes in the air fryer, or until done.
