Air Fryer Spiced Walnuts

Ingredients

  • 3 cups walnuts halves & pieces (pecans and almonds work great too!)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Get out and measure all of your ingredients.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 325 degrees.
  3. Add walnuts to a large mixing bowl.
  4. Melt the butter then cool slightly.
  5. In a small mixing bowl, add cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg and salt.
  6. Whisk together until blended.
  7. Pour butter over the walnuts and toss to coat.
  8. Pour sugar mixture over walnuts.
  9. Toss to coat.
  10. Line air fryer basket with parchment paper liner. Spread a thin layer of walnuts in air fryer basket.
  11. Cook in preheated air fryer for 5 minutes in batches, then spread on cookie sheet to cool.
  12. Serve or store in a sealed container or freezer bag for up to 7 days.
  13. Enjoy every bite.
