Air Fryer Steak Bites
Easy and quick air fryer steak bites for a protein packed punch of juiciness in every bite.
Ingredients
- 10 oz steak ribeye, sirloin, or other cuts and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce low-sodium
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp kosher salt Diamond Crystal brand
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dark brown sugar
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp oregano dried
- ¼ tsp sage dried rubbed
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Pat dry the 10 oz steak with paper towels.
- Cut the 10 oz steak into one-inch, even cubes.
- In a mixing bowl combine the 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce, 1 tbsp olive oil, ½ tsp kosher salt, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp dark brown sugar, ¼ tsp onion powder, ¼ tsp dried oregano, ¼ tsp dried rubbed sage, and ¼ tsp smoked paprika. Use a whisk to thoroughly incorporate all the ingredients.
- Add the cubed steak pieces and toss until all sides are coated. Let this marinate on the counter for 10 minutes, mix to ensure even coating then marinate for another 10 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 °F. If you’re using an air fryer toaster oven, place a sheet rack on the bottom of the basket to catch any drippings.
- Place the marinated steak cubes on the air fryer basket in an even layer with at least ½ inch space in between each cube. Air fry for 6-7 minutes for medium doneness.
- Use an instant-read thermometer, test the temperature and when it reads 130 °F in the center of the largest piece of steak, transfer all the steak onto a plate and cover with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
