Air Fryer Steak Bites
Air Fryer Steak Bites are small cubes of sirloin or ribeye steak seasoned with garlic powder, paprika, and liquid aminos, then cooked in an air fryer until tender and juicy. The steak cubes develop a nicely browned exterior from the air fryer while remaining juicy inside, thanks to careful timing and shaking during cooking. This makes for a quick protein-packed snack or appetizer without the need for pan-frying in oil.
Ingredients
- 1 pound steak sirloin, new york strip, ribeye, etc, chopped into cubes
- 1 Tbsp avocado oil
- 2 tsp liquid aminos or soy sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt to taste, sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer at 400 degrees for 4 minutes.
- Add all of the ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir well until everything is coated in oil and seasoning.
- Transfer the raw steak bites to the air fryer.
- Air fry 10 to 20 minutes or until steak reaches desired done-ness, stopping twice throughout the air fry process to shake the drawer. I let mine go for about 12 to 15 minutes and they turn out perfectly tender and juicy.
Notes
- Prepare a garlic butter dipping sauce by melting butter with minced garlic in the microwave or on the stove before serving.
- Shake the air fryer basket twice during cooking for even browning of the steak bites.
- Cook steak bites to your preferred doneness between 10 to 20 minutes, typically 12 to 15 minutes for medium rare.
