Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges

These air fryer sweet potato wedges are my go-to when I want an easy side dish or snack. Sweet and creamy insides with crisp edges? Yes please!

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1-2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the sweet potatoes then using a sharp knife, slice each sweet potato in wedges.
  2. Do this by cutting each sweet potato in half, lengthwise, then cutting each half in 3-4 wedges.
  3. Place in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Combine the spices in a small bowl then sprinkle the spice mixture over the sweet potatoes.
  5. Drizzle with oil then toss to coat.
  6. Transfer the sweet potatoes to the air fryer basket then air fry at 350°F/180°C for 15-20 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are soft and starting to caramelize around the edges.
  7. Flip the wedges over halfway through cooking to encourage even browning.
  8. Remove from the air fryer then garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and serve.
