Air Fryer Taco Burgers
Change up your Taco Tuesday with these easy, juicy Air Fryer Taco Burgers! In less than 30 minutes you'll sit down to burgers full of flavor, perfectly juicy, and deliciously seasoned
Ingredients
- cooking spray
- 1 pound ground beef 20% fat content
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix
- 1/4 cup salsa mild, medium, or hot, chunky
- 4 ounces cheddar cheese shredded
- 4 Hamburger Bun or sandwich rolls
For serving:
- guacamole
- jalapeño
- lettuce
- sour cream toppings as desired
Instructions
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray (for easier cleanup, use a parchment liner)
- In a large mixing bowl, lightly combine the ground beef, taco seasoning mix, salsa, and shredded cheese until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Form each portion into a patty.
- Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees F.
- Place the hamburger patties into the basket and set the timer for 6 minutes. Flip the patties and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 155-160 degrees F (for well done).
- Assemble the burgers with a bun and choice of toppings.
Notes
- Substitute Monterey jack or pepper jack cheese for the Cheddar.
- For a lower-carb option, use corn tortillas or lettuce in place of the bun.
- Leftovers may be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to three months. To reheat, place refrigerated (or defrosted) burgers in the air fryer again for about 5 minutes.
