Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless chicken breasts or thighs
- ¾ cup PLAIN yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 ½ tablespoons tandoori masala
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 tablespoon ginger grated
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ¼ teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon fresh mint leaves (optional) chopped
Instructions
- Cut the chicken breasts/thighs into 1-inch thick pieces. In a large mixing bowl, marinade the chicken with all the ingredients except the mint leaves.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best results).
- Cut the wooden kebab sticks to the size of the air fryer basket and soak in water for 10 minutes.
- Put the chicken on the kebab sticks
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F for 5 minute.
- Place skewers into airfryer basket, spray with cooking oil and let it cook for 13-15 minutes.
- Optional, sprinkle finely chopped mint over chicken and serve.

Notes
- You can cook tandoori chicken in a regular oven. Place each piece of chicken 1/2 inch apart on a foil lined and lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for about 25 minutes, turning the chicken halfway through.
