Alabama White BBQ Sauce Recipe

This delicious mayonnaise-based Alabama white BBQ sauce recipe is so easy to make and goes perfectly on all barbecued and smoked food.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • ½ cup cider vinegar
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons raw prepared horseradish
  • 2 teaspoons garlic granules
  • 2 teaspoons onion granules
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a medium-size bowl.
  2. Whisk together until it is completely smooth.
  3. Use or refrigerate until ready to use.

Notes

  • Chef Notes:
  • Make-Ahead: You can make this recipe up to 3 days ahead of time.
  • How to Store: Cover and keep in the refrigerator for up to 14 days. This will not freeze well.
  • Substitute the onion and garlic granules with powder.
  • This would go excellent with pork and chicken.
