All-Purpose Tahini Sauce
Smooth and tangy tahini sauce dressing takes savory recipes to the next level of deliciousness! This homemade sesame paste sauce is easy to mix up with only a handful of ingredients, and perfect to drizzle on your favorite dishes or use as a creamy dip.
Ingredients
- ½ cup tahini paste
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- salt
- black pepper
- 4-6 tablespoons water if needed
Instructions
- Set out a small bowl or measuring pitcher.
- Add the tahini paste, lemon juice, Italian seasoning, and garlic to the bowl. Stir well to combine.
- Lemon juice will often cause the paste to seize up and become firm. If this happens, loosen the sauce with 4-6 tablespoons of water. Salt and pepper as desired.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Keep the dressing in an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for up to a week or so. Give it a good shake or stir before drizzling the sauce onto your dishes or using as a dip.
