Almond Joy Protein Balls
Almond Joy Protein Balls combine rolled oats, natural almond butter, honey, chocolate protein powder, and shredded unsweetened coconut into dense, chewy no-bake snacks. These small, hand-formed balls offer a sweet, nutty flavor with a hint of chocolate, inspired by the classic candy. Their texture is firm but pliable, making them easy to store and eat on the go. They are convenient for a quick energy boost or post-workout treat.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups rolled oats old fashioned
- 1 cup almond butter natural
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 coops chocolate protein powder 50-60 grams
- 1-2 Tablespoons coconut unsweetened, shredded
Instructions
- Place oats, almond butter, honey, protein powder and shredded coconut in a large bowl and stir to combine.
- Getting the mixture to combine takes a little arm muscle and it may seem too thick at first, but it will come together as you keep mixing. I used my hands to knead the dough near the end and that seems to help.
- Once combined, use a small cookie scoop to scoop and form the dough into balls.
- Store in a covered container in the fridge or freezer.
Notes
- Maple syrup can substitute for honey to suit different dietary preferences.
- Almond butter may be replaced with cashew, peanut, tahini, or sunflower seed butter depending on taste or allergies.
- Choose your preferred chocolate protein powder brand and flavor to personalize the almond joy taste.
